REPORT OF 2023 UKPAGADA LECTURESHIP
To the glory of God, we have formally concluded the 2023 Ukpagada annual lectureship which featured 3 days of door-to-door knocking, 3 days of open-air outdoor preaching, and 1 day of indoor lectures.
503 participants from 58 congregations in Nigeria participated, and the fellowship was great.
8 souls were baptized, 7 during the open-air preaching and 1 during the indoor lectures. And 1 this morning during worship at Alladim.
All the 7 baptized are now added to the Alladim congregation while our congregation got the 1 soul baptized during the indoor lectures.
The population that came was far more than our auditorium capacity and this has forced us to activate our desire to expand the hall.
I was blessed with a portrait of myself drawn by a youth in a neighbouring congregation.
For the first time in 11 years, we all slept at the village courtesy of the finishing of the Mission House by Rod Thornton of Westside Church of Christ in Oklahoma, USA.
