Dear beloved in Christ Jesus, I am once again privileged to write to you what the Lord is using us to do through the Bear Valley school in Taraba. The school over here has been instrumental to the planting, growing, and development of the Lord’s churches in Taraba and it’s environs. We are working with local churches in advancing the work of the kingdom here on Earth.
The radio program is exposing a lot of errors in the denominational world. Our recently introduced prison evangelism is adding a vibe to that.
We did not also relent in our traditional door to door knocking evangelism. From the month of June to August, we have conducted 38 Bible studies involving 82 persons, even though no baptism was recorded, 18 of our prospects continue to visiting nearby congregations during Sunday worship or weekly Bible class. “Pastor” Bether Kwetishe and her family continue to worship with us.
Recently, we conducted 2 days indoor lectureship in Takum and the dying church there was revived. In Sunkani where one of our instructors conduct worships every Sunday, Mr. Mathias Mongokevina a trained preacher who was disfellowship in 2007 repented and has commerce worshiping with the church.
Class activity: I took the students on the wonderful and comprehensive book of James, OT History 2 (Joshua to Judges). O.T lit. 2 was taught by David Ayuba.
Note: our first graduation exercise and annual lectureship is scheduled for 29th to 31st January, 2026.
One week campaign for Christ is scheduled for next month (October) to be hosted by the Church of Christ mission quarters Wukari.
We covet your prayers for ,the success of the programs. Thank you and God bless.
Yours in Christ,
Madaki I. Elkanah.
