QUARTERLY REPORT – JULY 2025
INTRODUCTION
We are grateful to God for the successful commencement of academic activities at the Ugep Study Centre of the Bear Valley Bible Institute. The Centre officially began operations on July 5, 2025. This report outlines the major developments and activities that occurred during the third quarter of the year, from July to September 2025.
ENTRANCE EXAMINATION AND ADMISSIONS
An entrance examination was conducted in June 2025, with a total of thirty-three (33) candidates participating. Following the screening and evaluation process, twenty-seven (27) students were admitted into the program. We thank God for their enthusiasm and willingness to pursue biblical studies and Christian service.
COURSES AND CLASS ACTIVITIES
Academic activities commenced immediately in July 2025. The following courses were taught or scheduled for this quarter:
- How We Got the Bible – Taught by Brother Abam Okoi in July 2025. The course was successfully completed, and the examination was held on the last Saturday of the month.
- Writing – Language and Research – Scheduled for August 2025 and to be taught by Bro. Obeten Okoi Oka, PhD. Preparations are in progress to ensure its successful delivery.
- Christian Evidences – Slated for September 2025, to be taught by Brother Gabriel Arikpo Ofem.
All classes are being conducted in accordance with the institute’s curriculum and standards, with students showing strong interest and participation.
CAMPAIGN FOR CHRIST / EVANGELISM
A Campaign for Christ outreach is scheduled to hold in August 2025. This will serve as both a spiritual exercise and a practical evangelism training experience for the students. Plans are underway to ensure that the campaign will have a meaningful impact in the Ugep community.
SUPPORT AND FINANCES
We acknowledge with gratitude that support for the quarter has been received. A detailed financial and support report will be compiled and presented separately in due course.
APPRECIATION
We are deeply thankful for God’s grace, which has enabled a smooth beginning for the Ugep Centre. We appreciate the dedication of our director, Brother Abam Okoi Oka, other faculty members – Brothers Sunday Omini, Eno Okoi Ikpi, Dr. Obeten Okoi Oka, and Gabriel Arikpo Ofem, as well as the support of our sponsors, particularly Chad Wagner and Keith Kasarjian, the National Director and Coordinator, Brothers Makinde Ebens and Timothy Iwe, respectively, whose commitment to the vision of Bear Valley Bible Institute remains unwavering. May God continue to bless and reward your efforts abundantly.
CONCLUSION
As we look ahead with faith and diligence, we pray for continued guidance and provision from our Heavenly Father. We remain committed to training men and women for effective ministry in God’s kingdom.
