Here is the report of our activities for the month of July 2025.

2. Practicum/Teaching Practice Report (July 5 – August 3)
FOURTH SEMESTER LECTURES CONCLUDED :
All subjects, tests, projects, and examinations for the final semester of the 2024/25 session concluded as scheduled. The last week of studies was dedicated to preparing students for a four-week practicum/teaching practice from July 5 – August 3, 2025.
The Fourth Semester featured eight instructors:
Bro. Isaac Olaniyan – Life of Christ 4 (Book of John) and Pastoral Epistles (1&2 Timothy and Titus)
Bro. Eniafe Kayode – Church History and Fundamentals of Faith
Bro. John Makinde – Research and Writing 2, and Elementary Greek
Bro. Israel Tajomavwo – Christian Ethics and Bible Geography
Bro. Oladokun Samuel – The Book of Revelation and Foundation of Mission
Bro. Odeyemi Durojaiye – Church Leadership & Administration and Homiletics 3
Bro. Makinde Ebenezer – Homiletics 2 (Practical) and Church Growth/Congregational Development
Bro. Folorunso Richard Oluwapelumi and Sister Oyenuga Esther: Part-time Computer instructors and three instructors serving at the BVBIN & SWSE-IBADAN Extension Center in Sabo-Sagamu, Ogun State—namely Bro. Oladokun Samuel, Bro. Olowe Bode, and Bro. Olaegbe
PRACTICUM/ TEACHING PRACTICE REPORT (July 5 – August 3)
Our 32 students from BVBIN & SWSE-IBADAN were deployed to serve in 19 congregations across the Western and Northern States of Nigeria. This practicum cost the school ₦570,500 for transportation, food supplies for those serving young congregations, and photocopies of essential materials.
Praise Report: By God’s grace, 37 souls have been added to the kingdom with 36 erring brethren restored. Notable results include:
Kuta Congregation, Osun State: 12 baptisms
Omu-Aran, Kwara State: 15 restorations and 5 conversions
We deeply appreciate the financial assistance from 70 W. Church of Christ and The BVBID USA which enabled us to successfully implement this vital program.
We expect all students to return to school by August 4, 2025, Lord willing.
UPCOMING EVENTS :
1. BVBIN Degree Program (August 11-22, 2025)
Bro. Odeyemi Durojaiye will substitute for Bro. Chad Wagner in teaching Greek 2 while Bro. Ayobami Akanji, an elder from The Lord’s Church at Isheri-Osun, Lagos State, will handle Congregational Development 2.
Budget: ₦160,000 for daily meals and ₦200,000 for instructors allowances (Total: ₦360,000 ≈$250)
2. BVBIN & SWSE-IBADAN 23rd Annual Bible Lectureship and Graduation Ceremony (August 21-23, 2025)
Theme: “The Secret of Faith” (Studies from Hebrews 11)
Speakers: 12 seasoned gospel ministers and two ministers’ wives from Lagos and Ondo States
Schedule: Begins noon August 21, concludes 12:00 PM August 23
Graduation: 24 graduates (Certificate, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma) plus 23 graduates from BVBIN-Agege, Ikorodu and Ondo
We thank the 70 W. Church of Christ, Bro. Douglas Wheeler, and Strickland Church of Christ for their contributions toward this lectureship.
REPORT FROM MISSION WORKERS / WBSFUW
1. *Bro. Princewill Simeon*, serving with a congregation in Plateau State, reported the conversion of a woman in the month of July.
2. *Bro. Olorode Samuel*, preacher at the Ajia congregation in Ona-Ara Local Government, Oyo State, reported the restoration of a family of four who had deserted the faith some years ago due to the socio-economic challenges in Nigeria.
3. *Bro. Daniel Tunji Alaje* served as secretary to five elderly brethren in facilitating the peaceful reconciliation between two preachers who had been in conflict for several years.
4. *Bro. James Isah*, serving with the Lord’s Church in Samonka, Niger State, reported progress on the construction of their meeting place, which has reached the roofing stage. The estimated cost for roofing is over one million naira (₦1,000,000).
5. *Bro. Rowland Matthew*, working with the Lord’s Church in Abusoro, Akure, Ondo State, reported the expansion of the gospel through the WBS program to two additional villages in Ondo State.
6. *Bro. Amos Olusegun*, serving with the Lord’s Church in Ijebu-Jesha, Osun State, reported the conversion of two WBS students in Osogbo, Osun State.
7. *Bro. Dele Shotola* reported the conversion of three young people and the restoration of two families during a one-week preaching trip to the Ilisan congregation in Ogun State in early July.
8. *Bro. Victor Smasher*, ministering at the Ussa and Barracks Road congregations in Takum, Taraba State, reported the conversion of two individuals and the restoration of a backsliding Christian.
We deeply appreciate the support and partnership of all brethren, especially *Dorman & Donna Lough and the Satellite Beach Church of Christ*, for their unwavering belief in and commitment to this ministry.
ACCOMPLISHMENT :
We appreciate the financial support from Dorman & Donna Lough, which enabled us to pay the remaining $1,500 loan from our 2024 solar panel and lighting installation in the school community.
We also thank 70W Church of Christ, Satellite Beach Church of Christ and BVBID USA for their financial support, which made possible successful preaching trips to:
Odofin-Ayekale, Kwara State (July 18-21, 2025)
Aramoko-Ekiti, Ekiti State (July 25-28, 2025) and in payment of all our outstanding support for our instructors and students of the BVBIN & SWSE-IBADAN
ABOUT A STUDENT:
Bro. Peter Omi Ibe is a Year One student in the Ministerial Department of BVBIN & SWSE-Ibadan. He was born on April 20, 1963, in the Gboko area of Benue State.
He obeyed the gospel and became a member of the Lord’s Church in January 2020 at Butubutu Village, Ibadan. Prior to his conversion, he served as a pastor in one of the Pentecostal churches in Ona-Ara Local Government Area, Oyo State.
He was admitted to BVBIN & SWSE-Ibadan in August 2023. He is married and blessed with children. Upon completing his training, his goal is to serve as a gospel preacher while supporting himself through farming.
In Conclusion: We express our heartfelt appreciation to God for His Grace and to you all for your partnership and support.
