Below are some of our activities in the Lord for the month of June 2025.

FOURTH SEMESTER CLASSES CONTINUE TILL JULY 04, 2025
As scheduled, the 4th Semester lectures will conclude on July 4, 2025, in preparation for the students’ four-week practicum (Teaching Practice), which will take place from July 5 to August 3, 2025. During this period, the 32 students will be assigned to 20 different congregations across the Western States of Nigeria.
This semester, we were privileged to engage eight instructors in the main campus and three currently serving at the BVBIN & SWSE-IBADAN Extension Center in Sabo-Sagamu, Ogun State—namely Bro. Oladokun Samuel, Bro. Olowe Bode, and Bro. Olaegbe Samuel.
By God’s grace and with the cooperation of both staff and students, we were able to complete our eight-week program within seven weeks. This was achieved by extending lecture hours by two additional hours daily—except on Fridays, when we closed at the regular time to allow students serving in various congregations to travel early.

Note:
Due to a shortage of funds, students’ five-week allowance will be paid in July, when we receive our next quarter of funding.
CANVASSING FOR NEW STUDENTS IN JUNE
During the first three Sundays of June, I focused on canvassing for new students in both Lagos and Ibadan. This effort is aimed at filling the slots of students who, Lord willing, will be graduating on August 23 from BVBIN & SWSE-Ibadan.
On June 1, I was given the opportunity by the elders of the Church of Christ at Mile 12 to teach the Bible class. I spoke on the topic: “Why You Should Attend a Bible Institute / Send Your Children to BVBIN & SWSE-Ibadan Before Their Tertiary Education.”
The following two Sundays were dedicated to visiting congregations in Ibadan for the same purpose—encouraging enrollment and sharing the vision of the Bible school with brethren and their families.

5. Ogaji Emmanuel Isaac, Chinedu Faith Chinaza, Oladipupo David Ayomikun, and Jacob Aweh will be serving at Church of Christ, Aparadija, Ogun State.
6. Jimoh Emmanuel Olusegun and Dada Jacob Akolade will be serving at Church of Christ, Mile 12, Lagos State.
7. David Magaji, Horo Bitrus Abiola, Peter Omi Ibe, Paulina David Magaji, and Ajikore Ajoke Naomi will be serving at Church of Christ, Butubutu Village, Ibadan, Oyo State.
8. Dada Augustine Joseph and Abigail Dada Joseph will be serving at Church of Christ, Jago, Ibadan, Oyo State.
9. Afokpo Francis Robert will be serving at Church of Christ, Ajibawo, Ogun State.
10. Edokpa Blessing Enoch will be serving at Church of Christ, Ibafo, Ogun State.
11. Folorunso Richard Oluwapelumi will be serving at Church of Christ, Onikokoro, Ibadan, Oyo State.
12. Ibrahim Shehu Lere will be serving at Church of Christ, Idi-Iroko, Ogun State.
13. Olaleye Josiah Testimony will be serving at Church of Christ, Aramoko, Ekiti State.
14. Oloyede Precious Daniel will be serving at Church of Christ, Kuta, Osun State.
15. Shiyanbola Mumini Kayode will be serving at Church of Christ, Felele-Rab, Ibadan, Oyo State.
16. Udofia Eyoh Aniekan will be serving at Church of Christ, Ijegun via Ikotun, Lagos State.
17. Dami Princewill Simeon will be serving at Church of Christ, Plateau State.
18. James Isa Gide will be serving at Church of Christ, Samonika Village, Niger State.
19. Fanu Happiness Awa will be serving at Church of Christ, Ifo-2, Ogun State.
JUNE WEEKEND EVANGELISM OUTREACH:
Throughout the weekends in June, all our students and staff actively participated in house-to-house evangelism across 15 different centers. They were joined by brethren from local congregations where they were assigned. To the glory of God, these efforts resulted in four conversions and the restoration of a family of four in Ajia town, located in Ona-Ara Local Government Area, Oyo State.
Additionally, the BVBIN SWSE-Ibadan Extension Center in Sabo-Sagamu, Ogun State, recorded three new converts during this quarter.
UPCOMING EVENTS – JULY 2025
1. The staff of BVBIN & SWSE-Ibadan, in partnership with WBSFUW in the Western States of Nigeria, is planning outreach visits to congregations of the Lord’s Church in Ayekale-Odofin, Kwara State, and Aramoko-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
2. From July 5 to August 3, 2025, our students will begin their four-week teaching practicum across various locations in the Southwestern states of Nigeria. As in previous years, the school has allocated a budget of $700 to support this crucial phase of their training, covering transportation fare for students, supervisors and other necessary expenses.
SOUTHWEST SCHOOL OF EVANGELISM – KIDDIES ACADEMY
Seven students of SWKA (Southwest Kiddies Academy), Butu-London, in Butubutu village, Ibadan, are among those sitting for the Basic Education Examination in Oyo State for Junior Secondary 3 students on June 14, 2025, in preparation for their transition to Senior Secondary School.
By God’s grace, those who are successful will form our Senior Secondary 1 (SS1) class in September 2025.
We sincerely thank you for your continued partnership and support in training these children from less privileged backgrounds, both within and outside the Lord’s Church.

ABOUT A STUDENT: Bro. Asamu Adewale Michael
Bro. Asamu Adewale Michael is one of our first-year students, admitted into the Ministerial Department of BVBIN & SWSE–Ibadan in 2023. He was born on February 14, 1994, to Brother and Sister Asamu.
He was baptized into Christ in 2015 at the Church of Christ, Ajegunle, Oyo State, by his father, Bro. Asamu, who serves as the preacher for the Ajegunle congregation in Oyo town.
Bro. Michael is married and blessed with two children. In addition to his ministerial training, he is also studying Art and Printing as part of his vocational studies.
His primary mission in attending BVBIN & SWSE–Ibadan is to become a competent gospel preacher, while also acquiring a trade that will help him support himself and his ministry during and after his training.
