MISSIONS UPDATES MARCH 2025, 15 BAPTISMS AND THREE SEMINARS
I thank God for his grace to be useful in his ministry, i thank you my dear supporters for your prayers and for providing financial support for me to preach the gospel of Christ in Nigeria. God has used me to bless his ministry in Nigeria.
On 27th march, the WBS Abak team during our monthly meeting reported 11 baptisms and three seminars conducted for the month of march.
THE GREAT WORKSHOP OGOJA 2025
The WBS Great workshop was held at Ogoja, Northern Cross Rivers State. February 18-22, 2025. I thank God for helping me attend this great gathering of WBS followup workers despite some challenges. The theme was very interesting ” Doing your job well”. Over 700 church workers were in attendance. Mike Cochrane and Chad Wagner from USA were in attendance and presented a keynote lectures with other Nigerian speakers.
March 21st, i participated in the wedding of Joe Obinna, the provost of NCBC conducted at Campus Church of Christ, Akwa Ibom State polytechnic Ikot Ekpene. It was great.
March 9, I spoke at WBS seminar at Church Of Christ Ikot Obio Mkpong Ikono, many were enrolled into WBS and non christians and christians were in attendance.
March 16th, Margret Sunday Nkanta was baptized at Church of Christ Ikot Akpabio where i am preaching.
March 22nd, i participated and spoke at a gospel seminar and evangelism at Church of Christ Afaha Obio Eno Ibiono, two souls were baptized.
Mike Cochrane spoke in the chapel and Rita Cochrane taught women class during the seminar.
March 23, i spoke in a WBS seminar and evangelism at Church of Christ Ikot Akpan Efia, Essien Udim. One soul was baptized. Mike Cochrane spoke at the seminar while Rita Cochrane taught women and Victoria Uyai translated for her at these two places.
Lords willing 6th April, 2025 will be ,my 58th birthday since it falls on sunday, i will celebrate it in the church at Ikot Akapabio and ask the brethren to pray for me.
This month i have mailed 90 students lessons to Wayne Duren of East Pointe Church of Christ. I have also scanned some more lessons to Donna Goulding of Perry church of Christ Ohio.
Recent Baptisms of students from Perry Church of Christ are;
1. Christian Christopher Sunday.
2. Victor Uwem Effiong.
3. Nseheobong Arthur.
