REPORT OF WORK OCTOBER, 2024
Dear Brethren,
Greetings from Monday John Akpakpan.
The work for October 2024 ended yesterday with the following report:
- Womens’ Gospel Meeting took place at No. 1 Church of Christ, Ukpom, Abak.
- There was another one at Eket Local Government Areaa (L.G.A.) with 1 baptism.
- The usual Youth Seminars took place in the following areas:
- Church of Christ, Udo Ekpo Street
- 10 Ebom Avenue Church of Christ
- Church of Christ, Ediene Ikot Oku Ubara
- Church of Christ, Edem Idim Manta all in Abak L.G.A.
- There was a World Bible School (WBS) seminar at Church of Christ Ikot Udo in the Obot Akara L.G.A with many people in attendance.
- M. B. Archibong reported 10 baptisms and 6 restorations.
- The total number of baptisms in the month of October 2024 was 38 and 6 restorations.
- At the Church of Christ, 18 Ebom Avenue, Abak, 2 people were baptized.
- No. 1 Church of Christ, Ukpom, had 2 baptisms.
- At Ikot Obio Ofong, Ibesikpo L.G.A., 2 people were baptized and added to the Lord’s Church.
- Ono community, Ibiono, witnessed 1 baptism in the month of October, 2024.
- There were 2 baptisms at Ikot Ekpeyak Ikono in Uyo L.G.A.
- Anua Obio in Uyo L.G.A, had 1 baptism during the month.
- Ikot Oku Ikono witnessed 9 baptisms.
- There were 6 baptisms at Atai Otoro in Abak L.G.A.
- African Christian Secondary School recorded 1 baptism as a result of the WBS Seminar at the School.
- Ikot Udo, Ika L.G.A. had 1 baptism.
- Ikot Idem Udo in Essien Udim L.G.A. brought 2 souls to the Lord’s kingdom.
- There was a WBS seminar and Evangelism effort at No. 12 Akpa Ubo Church of Christ, Uyo.
