Greetings Brethren,
Our God has been helping me to do better this year 2024 than I did last year because He is providing the means for me to join the brethren in all of their evangelistic activities. I give Him all the praise.
Like I reported in my last report of work, the new congregation where I am currently preaching started two years ago through one of the annual World Bible School Outreach efforts organized by brother, Chinedum Nwankwo who is my mission leader in Abia State. The congregation was inaugurated with only six baptized members but to the glory of God we now count more than 17 worshippers every Sunday worship and 9 members every Wednesday Bible studies.
In February, I was personally involved in many Gospel outreach efforts among the brethren of the churches of Christ in the Nvosi Area of Abia State. We hosted a 3-day Gospel outreach at Umuakwu and the Lord blessed our work with five baptisms. I personally administered the baptisms as can be seen in the pictures beneath this report.
I converted two new members into the Church of Christ, Umuokiri Nvosi. I join the brethren around Umunvo in their 3-day Gospel meetings where we had door to door evangelism, open air evangelism and indoor lectures. The brethren came out in good numbers to join us in working for the Master.
Another Gospel effort I participated in was the one organized by brethren in middle Ngwa area where our brother, Robert Otis, was one of the facilitators and God blessed our effort with baptisms. Our brethren from Ugwunagbo had their one-day Gospel meeting at Umuodo and the turnout was impressive as already reported by my senior colleague Uzoma Alozie.
The month of March saw us getting involved with our master’s mandate and the result was sweet fellowship, teaching the undiluted Word of God and leading more than 10 persons into the Lord’s Church through baptisms.
I thank you all for helping me do the Lord’s work in my area of jurisdiction. May you all be blessed in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Yours in Him,
Chidi Ogbonna
