Report of work for January and February 2024
Dearly beloved,
I thank God for survival these two months so far this year. Nigeria is tough and God is faithful.
We are doing well as a family, and the church is growing despite being faced with some challenges.
As a church, we were able to organize the 2024 leadership conference on the 6th of January, where over 56 preachers in Northern Cross River participated with two other members. The conference afforded us the opportunity to plan programs of the church in Northern Cross River, and the growth agenda was set.
We also organized the 5th edition of the Couples Retreat on the 3rd of February to train couples on basic principles of parenting. Poor parenting has robbed so many men of leadership roles in the church. Gradually, the Ukpagada church is positioning itself to lead other congregations to the path of growth.
On a personal note, I led over 600 men at the World Bible School (WBS) Great Workshop that had Brian Davis, president of WBS and wife, Sondra, in attendance.
I also spoke at six congregations within this period.
God has been faithful to me and I can say that despite the bad and unsafe roads, He has always seen me through.
I plan to be in Cameroon with my wife between 8th and 14th of April to train leaders in South West Cameroon. The trip will cost 300 USD since it is through the road. If the church desires to support me, I will truly appreciate it.
I also plan to be in Sierra Leone in July and Kenya in August. Keep me in your prayers.
During this period under review, 14 baptisms were recorded and two restorations. We also lost two to the devil through disfellowship.
God bless you now and always.
