Establishment of the Lord’s Church in Samonika Village, Niger State
Our journey commenced from Butubutu village on Tuesday at noon, as we prepared for a four-day mass evangelism campaign aimed at establishing a church in Samonika village. The night was spent at my residence in Idi-Orogbo, Ibadan.
To reach our destination, we engaged two taxis from Ojurn/Akobo to Akinyele market in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State. From there, we boarded a bus heading towards Mokwa in Niger State.
Our schedule involved morning sessions for house-to-house visits and evenings dedicated to visitations and prayers. The result was remarkable: eleven individuals embraced the gospel on Thursday, one on Saturday, and an additional four souls following the morning worship.
As of now, the church congregates in an open space within the Gide family’s premises.
This endeavor marks the establishment of a vibrant church community in Samonika village; representing a significant milestone in our efforts to spread the teachings of the Lord in this region.
We deeply appreciate you all for your partnership, encouragement and support.
May the Lord continue to bless all our work together in Christ Jesus’ name, amen
Sincerely yours in His grace as a servant,
Makinde Ebens
