FEBRUARY 2026 MINISTRY REPORT
Beloved in Christ Jesus.
Greetings from the students and staff of the Bear Valley Bible Institute Nigeria and Southwest School of Evangelism Ibadan ,Oyo State, Nigeria.
We deeply appreciate you all for your great contributions towards the growth of the Lord’s Church in Africa most especially in Nigeria through the preachers training program in most of the states of Nigeria.
I’m glad to share some of our February 2026 events with you all.
FOUR NEW STUDENTS JOIN OUR MINISTERIAL PROGRAM (2025/2026 Academic Session Update)
We give glory to God for His continued blessings upon this ministry. As a result of our visitations and consistent advertisements on the Church of Christ WhatsApp platform, BVBIN & SWSE–IBADAN has been blessed with four young brothers who recently completed their secondary school education.
These young men have prayerfully chosen BVBIN & SWSE–IBADAN for a two to three-year training program, combining both Ministerial and Vocational Studies. We are grateful to the Lord for entrusting these future leaders into our care.
THIRD SEMESTER CLASSES FOR 2025/2026 SESSION
By the grace of God, our Third Semester commenced as scheduled on January 5, 2026. The semester will conclude on March 20, 2026, alongside our 24th Annual Leadership Seminar.
This semester, we are offering eighteen (18) subjects:
Year One Subjects:
* Life of Christ III (Gospel of Luke)
* New Testament Church II (Worship)
* 1 & 2 Peter and Jude
* 1 & 2 Thessalonians
* 1 Corinthians
* Old Testament Wisdom II (Psalms & Song of Solomon)
* Biblical Eschatology
* Christian Ethics
* Homiletics II (Practical)
Year Two Subjects:
* Marriage and Family Life
* Preacher: Life and Work
* 2 Corinthians
* Romans
* Hebrews
* Old Testament Minor Prophets
* Teach with Success
* Book of Revelation
* Foundations of Mission
* Homiletics III (Advanced)
Additionally, our Extension Program in Sabo–Sagamu, Ogun State, is offering three subjects this semester:
* Homiletics-1 in January.
* Pastoral Epistles in February .
* Christian Evidence in March 2026 .
We thank God for the smooth progress of all academic activities.
WEEKEND EVANGELISM OUTREACH
The students and staff of BVBIN & SWSE–IBADAN continue steadfastly in Weekend Evangelism Outreach across nine different centers within the Western States of Nigeria.
Through our collective efforts, the Lord blessed us with five conversions — four young boys and one married woman.
To God alone be the glory and honor.
STUDENT PROFILE
Brother Dada Jacob Akolade is currently a Year One student. He is a native of Ifonyitedo in Ogun State and a grandson of Brother Dada Jeremiah, a long-serving minister of God in the Western States of Nigeria.
Born in 2006, he obeyed the gospel during one of our August Lectureships at the Campus Church of Christ, Butubutu Village, Ibadan.
He is presently combining Fashion Design training with his Ministerial Studies. His mission after completing this program is to become a faithful and dedicated gospel minister within and beyond the Yoruba kingdom.
We pray the Lord will use him mightily in His vineyard.
COMING EVENTS
1. Third Set of BVBIN Degree Program
The third set of the BVBIN Degree Program will resume their academic session from March 9–20, 2026, at the BVBIN & SWSE–IBADAN Main Campus, Butubutu Village.
The following courses will be taught during this period:
* Brother Chad Wagner (or his substitute, Brother Odeyemi Durojaye) will teach Basic Biblical Greek I.
* Brother Olaniyan Isaac Oluwole will teach Exegesis and Hermeneutics I.
A total sum of $250 has been budgeted to cover daily meals for students and instructors, as well as a modest transportation allowance for the two instructors.
2. 24th Annual Leadership Seminar
The 24th Annual Leadership Seminar will be held, Lord willing, from March 18–20, 2026, at Chad Wagner’s Hall, Butu–London, Butubutu Village, via Badeku, Jago, Ona-Ara Local Government Area, Oyo State, Nigeria.
Theme:
Jesus Christ, Our Perfect Example
(Studies from the Gospel of Luke)
Fourteen seasoned ministers of the gospel will be ministering during this seminar, with Brother Chad Wagner serving as the Guest Speaker.
The school has budgeted the sum of $1,500 to cover:
* Printing of the seminar book and program materials
* Banners and publicity materials
* Feeding of over 250 ministers expected to attend
* Payment of caterers
* Transportation allowances for the speakers.
Big thanks to The Wheelers family for their contribution of the sum of $450 towards this forthcoming program. May the Lord continue to bless all their undertaking is our fervent prayers in Christ Jesus name, amen.
3. Mass Evangelism Outreach and Open-Air Bible Lectureship
A Mass Evangelism Outreach and Open-Air Bible Lectureship is scheduled to hold from April 16–19, 2026, in Aramoko-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
The sum of $350 has been budgeted for this program.
CONCLUSION
We sincerely appreciate all our stakeholders for their continued prayers, encouragement, and financial support for this ministry. May the Lord continue to bless our collective efforts in Christ Jesus’ name. Amen.
