The third semester lectures commenced on Monday, January 5, 2026, and will continue until March 20, 2026. This schedule allows adequate preparation for our 24th Annual Leadership Seminar, scheduled for March 18–20, 2026, which will feature nine ministers of God from Nigeria and the United States of America.
During this semester, we plan to teach eighteen (18) subjects, facilitated by our eight dedicated instructors, who are fully prepared and committed to the task. While our three able ministers will continue their services at the BVBIN & SWSE-IBADAN extension program in Sabo -Sagamu, Ogun State .
WEEKEND EVANGELISM OUTREACH
By the grace of Almighty God and with the continued support of our faithful stakeholders in both the United States of America and Nigeria, our students and staff were actively engaged in evangelism every weekend throughout the month.
The school participated in outreach efforts across fifteen (15) different centers in Oyo, Osun, and Lagos States, in partnership with the local congregations where our students are serving.
To the glory of God, these joint efforts resulted in seven (7) new converts and the restoration of four (14) erring brethren back to the faith.
SOUTHWEST SCHOOL OF EVANGELISM, IBADAN – KIDDIES ACADEMY
The Southwest Kiddies Academy (SWKA) resumed for the second term on January 5, 2026, in accordance with the Oyo State Ministry of Education Basic Education calendar.
The school currently has over 100 pupils and eight (8) instructors, and the term will run for fourteen (14) weeks.
We sincerely appreciate the Gahana–Jefferson Church of Christ, Zachary & Kim Van Tassel and Sister Cherry Lloyd for their continuous support toward the education and training of children from underprivileged members of the Lord’s Church and the surrounding community.
OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN THE FIRST MONTH OF 2026
Through the generous partnership, love, and support of Brother Chad Wagner and associates, Tulare Community Church of Christ, Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver, Doug & Diane Wheeler, Dorman & Donna Lough, and other faithful stakeholders, we were able to:
* Replace broken louvers and mosquito nets in the Guest House, Doug Wheeler Events Center, Male Dormitory, one block of the BVBIN & SWSE–IBADAN staff quarters, and the Administrative Block.
These improvements were completed in preparation for the 24th Annual Leadership Seminar scheduled for March 18–20, 2026, at Butu-London, Butubutu Village, the home of BVBIN & SWSE–IBADAN.
Additionally, we were able to repay ₦4,389,600 ($3,100) from the total loan of ₦8,500,000 ($6,003) obtained in July and November 2025. This loan was necessary to sustain the school during a period when some stakeholders were unable to contribute during the third and fourth quarters of 2025.
